Read our opinion on Act Dialers but we still recommend working
inside of Outlook and with Prophet CRM
The moment you start making your calls through an ACT dialer and
stop dialing by hand, you immediately increase your contact ratio and production.
The ACT dialer comes at a very affordable price and the ACT software used for the
ACT dialer enables you to look up your records, and update your notes and last results
fields easily simply with the click of a button. Above all, the ACT dialer
system with its number of different settings and features helps you to run your
business better, and ultimately aims towards higher profit margins.
Features
The ACT dialer is built into the ACT software and it is an extremely easy-to-use
phone dialer software. The hardware package of the ACT dialer is worth a buy,
right from the first day. There are five main features available on the ACT
dialer.
On the ACT dialer it is possible for you to customize your own call disposition
buttons. In this way you can keep track of your call results and also manage
all your records. If you manually dial with the phone auto dialer it is time-consuming.
On the other hand the ACT dialer looks up your group of lookup records and you take
half the time to dial. The result of your calls can be logged in your notes
in the ACT dialer, or you can even log in both your notes and last result field.
The ACT dialer will show you a display of total calls made and also a summary of
different call dispositions. The ACT dialer then acts as a log book storing
all your phone calls, duration of calls and their results.
Efficient call
workflow
The ACT dialer enables you to make your phone dialing easy, manageable, yet comprehensive
and useful for business purposes, for example. Let us look at the activities
that the ACT dialer can perform.
When there are too many dial contacts, they obviously flood the ACT screens with
the details of incoming and outgoing calls. If you have an ACT dialer and there
is an incoming call coming in, you can immediately identify the caller, because
the contact’s record is displayed on a pop-up window. After each call
you can clear the activities by using the ACT dialer’s Scheduled Call Lists.
In this way it is extremely easy to maintain your database for both Scheduled Calls
and Activities.
With the help of the ACT dialer in combination with your computer, you can
use Skype for both incoming and outgoing calls. If you have wireless synchronization
with any handheld device, the ACT dialer creates activities for unanswered incoming
calls and sends them directly to your PDA.
If you want to Schedule Activities in the future, just do it with a click.
In this way ACT dialer can reschedule your activities for the next business day.
The ACT dialer also enables you to use your PBX or switchboard to identify and record
external and internal calls. Also, if you require a secondary contact’s
information, the ACT dialer can help you to display it as part of the Call Contact
pop-window, if it is associated with the primary contact.
Functioning of incoming
Calls
If you are using the phone without a headset and a call comes in, the ACT dialer
confirms the contact with a mouse click, and it starts the timer, displays the contact
and creates a history. If you are using a headset, you have to click on the
contact to accept the call, and the ACT dialer activates starting of the timer and
making of a history entry. If you do not accept the call, the ACT dialer logs
in the history and an activity, like a telephone call, is created.
Outgoing calls
A scheduled outgoing call is made from the to-do list in the ACT dialer.
If you click on the call, the contact is immediately opened. In this way the
ACT dialer displays the activity and creates a log. If you cannot reach the
contact, the activity is postponed. On the other hand, if you make an unplanned
call from the contact, a web site or an email, the ACT dialer automatically creates
a log. Again, if you cannot reach the contact, a new activity is created.
The operating systems with the ACT dialer are with Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows
Server 2003 and XP Tablet PC. The languages used are English and German.
The general requirements in combination with the ACT dialer are the ACT series with
a telephone system, USB or network connection or Skype.
