than Goldmine software. Unlike Goldmine software, Prophet offers
a special version of their software that is designed specifically
for servers. When using this special edition you don’t have
to use other types of software or purchase new hardware in order
for it to be compatible with your current software programs and
server. However, Goldmine software is the exact opposite of Prophet.
Goldmine software requires new software and hardware to be purchased
if you are going to use Goldmine software on a server, as Goldmine
software is less compatible. Using Goldmine software on a server
is not only expensive for your company or organization, but using
Goldmine software can also be time consuming as you must go through
the process of determining what software and hardware is needed
in order to make the server compatible with the Goldmine software
Prophet
is more compatible with different versions of Outlook than Goldmine
software.
Both Prophet and Goldmine software work with the Microsoft email
program Outlook. However, Prophet works with more versions of Outlook
than Goldmine software does. Goldmine software is only compatible
with a few version of Outlook, while Prophet is compatible with

be added or changed they can easily do it by clicking on the toolbar.
With Goldmine software, employees must exit out of their email program
and go into the ACT ual Goldmine software program to enter or change
the information. They then must synchronize the information in the
Goldmine software to Outlook, so that the information in the Outlook
and Goldmine software are compatible. Using Goldmine software is
not only a hassle to employees, but it also cuts down on their efficiency
as Goldmine software requires more time to constantly exit and open
programs just to input or change data. In addition, it also requires
times to make sure that changes or new additions to the Goldmine
software are synchronized with Outlook, so the information from
both Outlook and the Goldmine software is compatible.
Prophet
is easier to use than Goldmine software.
Many of the companies and organizations that currently use Prophet
software have previously used one of its competitors, such as Goldmine
software. For a variety of reasons they have switched to Prophet,
but most often they cite the fact that Prophet is easier to use
than any other competitor, including Goldmine software, as being
the number one reason they switched. Prophet prides itself on being
easy to use and strives to beat its competition in this area. Not
only is it user friendly, but Prophet comes with a tutorial that
shows users its features very quickly so they can began using the
program.

information, you should consider Prophet and Goldmine software.
Both Prophet and Goldmine software provide you with the ability
to manage your clients, business contacts, and sales opportunities,
but Prophet and Goldmine software have very different features.
In addition, many former users of Goldmine software have switched
to Prophet, because they find Prophet much easier to use than Goldmine
