Sales Process Optimization (SPO)

Understanding and defining your sales stages and configuring them in Prophet

Sales Process Optimization (SPO) is a service designed to assist Prophet Customers with identifying their Sales Process and effectively implementing it within Prophet.

SPO Goal: Identify and establish Sales Stages that are clear, concise, and can be easily followed by all members of the sales team. SPO will assist you with identifying your sales stages, enhancing your utilization of Prophet, and ultimately help you close more sales.

Sales Process Optimization is Straight-forward and consists of 2 definable steps:

Step 1: Understanding and Defining your Sales Stages

The first step in SPO is to lay the groundwork for identifying and refining your sales stages. You will begin work with your Avidian SPO Manager to review your existing Sales Stages and establish a framework for refinement. The goals in this first step are:

  • Identify members of your SPO team (Management, Sales, Marketing, etc.)
  • Outline a schedule and timeline for your SPO
  • Initiate review of your current sales stages and milestones

From this session your team will begin review of your existing process and identify specific Sales Stages and/or Milestones in preparation for the next step. This work is key in creating a framework which your SPO team will build upon and create a repeatable sales process.

Step 2: Configuring the Prophet Opportunity Window / Sales Stages

This step of your SPO will review, identify and outline the sales stages you will be using in Prophet. Your SPO Manager will work with you to integrate your sales process into Prophet and customize the Opportunity Window to efficiently track your sales. The goals for this step are:

  • Define your Sales Stages
  • Develop appropriate Milestones
  • Customize Prophet with your Sales Process
  • Create a working Opportunity Template
  • Discuss Best Practices for Prophet use

From this session you will come away with a customized Prophet Opportunity Template which your team can begin using immediately.
